Founding
Story

Hepburn + Glass Lawyers + Mediators LLP was founded on a shared belief that legal service should be both exceptional and approachable. Beth and Danielle first began working together in 2009 and quickly discovered their common interest and commitment to family law. In 2019, they formalized their partnership and created a firm where clients feel supported, heard, and empowered, especially during life’s most difficult moments.

With deep roots in the Fraser Valley and a mutual commitment to resolving conflict with compassion and clarity, Hepburn + Glass continues to reflect that original vision, offering skilled legal guidance grounded in collaboration, care and trusted advocacy.

We believe that great legal service is about more than just outcomes. It’s about how you feel getting there.

Our Core Principles

  • Two women having a discussion at an office desk, with one woman facing the camera smiling and the other woman speaking, with office equipment and a large window in the background.

    Compassion With Purpose

Compassion is at the core of how we practice law, not as a soft sentiment, but as a strength. We meet every client with respect, care, and attentiveness, while staying focused on results. Whether you’re experiencing grief, stress, or uncertainty, we aim to lighten your load with calm, thoughtful support and legal strategies that are clear, effective, and always aligned with your best interests.

  • People working at a desk with laptops, documents, notebooks, a tablet, a phone, a pen, and a cup of coffee.

    Clarity Over Complexity

Legal matters can be overwhelming, especially when you're already navigating personal or family changes. We believe that clarity is empowering, so we communicate in plain language, avoid legal jargon, and guide you step by step. Our goal is for you to fully understand your rights, your options, and the process ahead, so you can make informed decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

  • Two women are shaking hands in a professional setting, with one woman seated at a glass desk and the other standing. The seated woman is smiling and wearing a light pink blazer, while the standing woman has tattoos on her arm and wears glasses.

    Collaboration Before Conflict

We believe that most legal issues - especially in family law - are best resolved through open dialogue and mutual respect. That’s why we prioritize collaborative approaches like negotiation and mediation. But when a firm stance is needed, we bring the full strength of our advocacy to court with precision and clarity, always protecting what matters most to you.
