Bio

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Danielle spent her formative years in Ladner, British Columbia. Her academic journey took her to the University of Victoria, where she earned a degree in Political Science and History, laying the groundwork for a future in law with a global perspective. Before entering the legal field, Danielle travelled extensively, working as a leader for children's programs aboard international cruise ships. Her travels eventually led her to Ireland, where she reconnected with her ancestral roots and pursued a law degree at Trinity College Dublin. She continued her legal education at Osgoode Hall Law School in Ontario before returning to British Columbia, drawn home by a strong sense of family, which includes her identical twin sister.

She takes pride in providing thoughtful, empathetic guidance during some of the most challenging transitions in her clients’ lives.

Danielle has practiced exclusively in family law since 2009, beginning her legal career with a boutique firm in Langley. A decade later, she and Beth Hepburn co-founded Hepburn + Glass, built on a shared commitment to high-calibre advocacy and client-centered service. In addition to her certifications as a family law mediator and arbitrator, Danielle’s practice is devoted to helping individuals navigate the emotional and legal complexities that come with separation, divorce, and evolving parenting arrangements. She takes pride in providing thoughtful, empathetic guidance during some of the most challenging transitions in her clients’ lives.

While Danielle believes in the value of out-of-court resolution and collaborative approaches, she is also a confident and capable litigator who regularly appears before all levels of court in British Columbia.

Danielle is an active member of the legal community, with affiliations including the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, the Westminster Family Law Subsection, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, and West Coast LEAF. She also supports many important local initiatives such as Covenant House, the Gordon Smith Foundation, and Plenty of Plates in Vancouver.

Outside the office, Danielle enjoys travelling, spending time with family, and staying active through Pilates and yoga.
