Tim is a family law associate at Hepburn + Glass, where he provides thoughtful, strategic representation in matters such as divorce, parenting time, support, and property division.

Drawing on significant litigation experience and a solid command of courtroom procedures, he helps clients move through the legal process with confidence and clarity.

Tim completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the University of British Columbia in 2009. Before attending law school, he worked briefly in the wealth management industry, gaining valuable insight into financial systems and client service. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC in 2019. While at Allard Law, Tim volunteered his time with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, representing clients in predominantly criminal matters. He also participated in the judicial externship program, supporting Provincial Court judges in Surrey and on BC’s Northern Circuit. After articling with a leading auto insurance corporation, Tim was called to the BC Bar in 2020.

He spent nearly six years practicing in personal injury and insurance defence, sharpening his skills in litigation and dispute resolution. This background supports a detail-oriented and pragmatic approach to family law, whether he's advocating at the courthouse or in a mediation boardroom. Tim emphasizes direct communication and delivers solutions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Outside of his legal practise, Tim enjoys spending time with his young family and racing rowing shells with his wife.
